Materials Guide

Choosing the right material decides strength, heat resistance, outdoor durability, and finish. If unsure, WhatsApp us your use-case — we’ll suggest the best option.

PLA

Prototypes • Low cost

Best for concept models, indoor prototypes, mockups and display parts. Easy, clean and economical.

  • • Pros: clean prints, affordable, fast turnaround
  • • Cons: lower heat resistance (avoid hot car dashboards)
  • • Use: mockups, indoor brackets, demo parts

PETG

Tough • All-rounder

Great balance of toughness, durability and chemical resistance — ideal for functional prototypes and enclosures.

  • • Pros: tougher than PLA, good layer bonding
  • • Cons: can be slightly stringy
  • • Use: enclosures, brackets, functional parts

ASA

Outdoor • UV resistant

Recommended for UAE outdoor use — better UV and weather resistance than ABS.

  • • Pros: UV-resistant, outdoor durable
  • • Cons: needs controlled printing (enclosure)
  • • Use: outdoor mounts, signage parts, car accessories

ABS

Heat • Strong

Strong and heat-tolerant material for functional parts when printed in controlled conditions.

  • • Pros: strong, higher temperature tolerance
  • • Cons: warping risk if not controlled
  • • Use: tool parts, housings, functional brackets

Resin (SLA/DLP)

High detail • Smooth finish

High detail and smooth surface finish — best for intricate models, fine features, masters and display-quality parts.

  • • Pros: very high detail, smooth surface
  • • Cons: post-processing needed
  • • Use: miniatures, decorative models, fine prototypes
